About Becky & Roscoe
Becky Thomas is an award-winning author and seasoned elementary school teacher who brings her lifelong love of children, animals, and storytelling to life through the adventures of Roscoe — her lovable, bossy rooster.
Drawing inspiration from her real-life experiences in the classroom and on her family farm, Peaches Place, Becky crafts heartwarming tales that both entertain and teach young readers important values like kindness, patience, friendship, and forgiveness. Her stories are a reflection of her passion for nurturing young minds and fostering empathy through engaging characters and relatable lessons. Becky is the author of Roscoe the Bossy Rooster, Roscoe Learns to Wait, and Roscoe and Community Helpers Never Give Up.
When she is not writing, she enjoys painting, woodworking, and spending time with her family and the animals on the farm. Becky lives in Tennessee with her husband, John, and their four children and grandchildren.
